Monitoring - We are currently having an issue with scan events dated September 20th and later not available in Tracking Files, Tracking API, Consumer Connect, and our tracking websites for Standard Delivery and Standard Returns. The root cause has been identified and corrective actions have been put in place. We expect the backlog of scan events to be processed by mid-day September 23 (Eastern Time).

You may see issues with our PB Expedited Delivery Services PRODUCTION environment that may prevent you from using the Tracking Service.

USPS Team is investigating the problem to determine the full scope of the outage and will be working to restore the operation of the APIs. We will send you an update as soon as we hear from them.

Identified - The issue impacting PB Expedited Delivery Services PRODUCTION environment has been identified.

The impact is limited to USPS Express Mail labels and Rate Calls with a delivery commitment. We are working with the USPS on a solution as the delivery commitment is provided by the USPS.

During the USPS maintenance, Label Providers will be unable to communicate with the USPS Label Broker server. This will not have any impact to Standard Returns Create Label with the QR Code feature, however users will not be able to access the label from the USPS Store during the maintenance window. Standard Return labels created during the maintenance window will be uploaded to the USPS when the maintenance is completed.

Possible Downtime:
USPS Store will not be able to scan QR_Code to generate Standard Returns labels during the maintenance window. Also, users may not be able to print labels via the USPS Label Broker website (https://tools.usps.com/label-broker.htm).
